64th Annual PAPA Conference - 2024

Our 64^th Annual PAPA Conference is right around the corner! We have an all-star lineup of presenters and presentations. Top leaders at PennDOT, The PA Turnpike Commission, and FHWA, will provide updates on their programs and we will hear from national leaders in the asphalt pavement industry about innovations and best practices from around the country. For the twelfth consecutive year, a Perpetual Asphalt Pavement Award will be awarded to PennDOT. The annual Quality Paving Awards will be presented to the best of the best paving contractors in the State. Additionally, the PAPA Gary L. Hoffman Scholarship will be awarded to worthy students. Presentation topics will include asphalt mix testing, mix placement, binder manufacturing, recycling agent, Balanced Mix Design, Work Zone Safety, milling best practices, greener asphalt mixes, and proper methods to apply tack coat and other pavement materials.  There will be 28 exhibitors who represent a diverse sector of our membership: material testing equipment, additives, construction equipment, software, asphalt plants/parts, and asphalt binder. Hope you can attend and participate!

Attendance Includes:
Two incredible days will gain you 3 PDH/NECEPT Credits on Tuesday and 4 PDH/NECEPT credits on Wednesday.

Monday:

• Kick off begins in Ballroom, Lounge, and Terrace 4:30-6:30 pm
• Welcome Reception | Exhibits Open| Exhibitor BINGO, Cornhole, Ring Toss, and games of skill.

Tuesday:

• Continental Breakfast with Exhibitors at 7:00 am
• First General Session at 8:00 am
• Buffet Luncheon at 12:00 pm & Desserts with Exhibitors
• Second General Session at 1:15 pm
• President’s Reception 4:30-6:30 pm in Ballroom, Lounge, and Terrace
• Exhibitor Bingo, Cornhole, Ring Toss, and games of skill continue.

(Prizes to be awarded at 6:30pm)

Wednesday:

• Continental Breakfast at 7:00 am
• Paving and Producer Breakout Sessions at 8:00 am.
• Wrap up at noon.
