2025 PennDOT/PAPA Bus Tour

As Willie sings so eloquently,
“On the road again, we just can’t wait to get back on the road again!”
So, get ready to register for the 2025 PennDOT PAPA Bus Tour hosted by PennDOT District 10 on July 29 and 30, 2025! Once again, working with terrific staff from District 10, we have a great lineup of educational stops lined up for Day 1 which includes a tour of the Allegheny Mineral Quarry – Harrisville, The Lindy Paving Asphalt Plant and Lab – Zelienople, and an in-progress paving project on SR 68 in Butler County.
Day 2 is jam packed with great presenters and presentations including: an overview of projects and priorities in District 10 by District Executive, Brian Allen, a presentation by Bret Lundgren & Devin Patton, P.E. on innovations and best practices in District 10, a review of questions and answers proffered from the Day 1 tour led by PennDOT’s Halley Cole, Chief, Pavement Testing & Asset Mgt Section, an overview of Department priorities by Chief Executive Highway Administration, Jonathan Eboli, P.E. Also, a presentation by the Director of the Bureau of Construction and Materials, Brent Trivelpiece on initiatives his Bureau is partnering with PAPA on, a technical overview by Tonya Burritt, Midland Asphalt Materials, Inc. on how tack coat is made and applied, and a technical update on changes to the SMA specification by PAPA’s Director of Technical Services, Mary Robbins.
As usual, we limit the attendance on Day 1 to a maximum of 110 attendees. So, don’t hesitate, get registered today, this is a can’t miss event! NECEPT/PDH credits will be issued.
