2019 Mid-Atlantic QAW

Please join Washington D.C. in attending the 52nd Annual Mid-Atlantic States QAW on February 5-7, 2019. The District of Columbia, Department of Transportation (DDOT) will host this event at the Omni Shoreham Hotel located at 2500 Calvert Street, NW in Washington, D.C. The Workshop will begin on Tuesday, February 5th at 1:00P.M. and will conclude on Thursday, February 7th at 12 noon.
The workshop will include a general session on Tuesday, followed by breakout sessions in Concrete, Asphalt, Metals, Maintenance, and Soils and Aggregates on Wednesday February 6th from 8:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., and in conclusion a closeout session on Thursday, February 7th. The theme for the 2019 workshop is “Capitalize on Quality”. The agenda for the workshop is forthcoming, and will be posted to the website when available.
The mission of the Mid-Atlantic Quality Assurance Workshop (QAW) is to promote, adopt and emphasize new transportation technologies and the implementation of proactive policies, practices, and procedures that ensure the real life of the transportation infrastructure equals or exceeds its design life at a minimum overall cost. We would like to extend an invitation to you to participate in this workshop that will offer a wide range of informational sessions on the latest technologies and practices that will support the goal of continuing the tradition of preserving quality control and quality assurance in maintenance and construction of our roads and bridges.
